Seam Reap

During our journey from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, we encountered several fascinating highlights.
We explored the historic Kompong Kdey Bridge, a remarkable example of ancient Khmer engineering.
Along the way, we enjoyed bamboo sticky rice from roadside vendors and experienced the local delicacies of spiders and insects in Skun.

Visit The Main Temple Complex
• Central Towers & Lotus Bud Spires: The five towers represent Mount Meru, a sacred mountain in Hindu and Buddhist cosmology.
• Grand Causeway: A 475-meter path leads into the temple, flanked by naga (serpent) balustrades.
• Moat: Surrounds the temple on all sides, adding grandeur and symmetry.
• Sunrise at Angkor Wat
• Watching the sunrise behind the temple is a must-do for many visitors.
• The reflection in the lotus pond makes for iconic photos — arrive early to get a good spot!
